Miss Rachel (Rachel Benedetto) is a NYS certified music teacher, and has been teaching music in the Hudson Valley since 2009. She has a Bachelor of Music Education from SUNY Potsdam, and a Master of Music Education with an emphasis in Pedagogy from the University of Hartford. After teaching orchestra and general music in Cornwall, Warwick, and Monroe-Woodbury schools, Miss Rachel stepped away to raise her children. She started Miss Rachel’s Music Time in 2021 to provide high-quality musical experiences to young children and their families. Miss Rachel lives in Washingtonville with her husband, two sons, two cats, and a flock of chickens.
